Position Summary

Receptionist

The Role:

 The Dentistry department provides a full range of clinical services, tertiary care, and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people. This includes the provision of specialist dental treatment of complex medical, cleft and craniofacial conditions.

This position will work alongside our full time receptionist in an interesting and diverse environment and will share the responsibility of managing a busy front desk.  The successful applicant will be a well presented professional person with a warm, mature personality, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills.  They will be an efficient worker, able to effectively prioritise and multi task as required. 

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following:

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting is desirable
  • Experience within a dental environment is essential
  • Previous knowledge of Titanium computer programme is desirable
  • Previous experience in a reception role
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Excellent computer skills including the use of dental programs and Microsoft office programs.
