About the Role:
In this role you will assist in delivering the highest level of hospital pharmacy service to client hospitals and their patients. This role operates at a part-time capacity with the opportunity to work various evening shifts and weekends.
- Delivering medication to allocated wards and retrieving new medication orders during allocated pharmacy round times.
- Ensure that the patients and nursing staff of client hospitals receive the right medication efficiently, in a timely and professional manner and in the correct quantities.
- Reporting any error or breach of ethics, practice or standards that occur to the Pharmacist in Charge.
- Recording all medications on the delivery run sheet.
- Pre-pack stock and fill the dispensing area drawers as required.
About You:
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changes in work requirements.
- Experience in a busy retail pharmacy environment preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work within a strong team environment.
