About the Role:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team based at our Camberwell pharmacy. Reporting directly to the Pharmacy Manager, your duties will include, but won’t be limited to:
- Dispensing and supplying inpatient medication and medication profiles for hospital patients
- Dispensing discharge medications and outpatient medications
- Maintaining excellent levels of customer service and assisting with over the counter enquiries
- Assisting with retail enquiries and stock control
- Processing sales transactions and assisting with account enquiries
- Assisting with promotional activities and set up
- Delivering medication to allocated wards and retrieving new medication orders
- Reporting any breaches of ethics or errors
- Assisting in administrative dispensary activities and supporting the wider pharmacy team
- Processing PBS claims
About You:
The person we are looking for will possess the following skills & credentials:
- Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent
- Previous Australian experience in either hospital or community pharmacy is essential
- Proficiency using Winifred & iPharmacy (preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of the PBS
- Sound knowledge of S2/S3 products
- Microsoft Office (basic)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- The ability to prioritise workload and adapting to change in work requirements
