Remuneration value up to $92 852.00 p.a., comprising salary between $2958.80 - $3 119.30 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO6) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy). Job Ad Reference: TC282182
Purpose of the role:
The Senior Health Worker will manage and supervise other Health Workers and Clinical Nurse Consultants working within the Horn Island Primary Health Care Centre. This role will assist in managing resources for the delivery of an individual health service within a health care facility for the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service.
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
- Possession of a Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated/immune against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B.
