- This role could be based in Melbourne or Sydney

About the Role
Your day to day activities may involve driving and delivering innovative projects, establishing environmental management plans and regular reporting to achieve our environmental and sustainable objectives.
In addition, you will work closely with the contract team and client to deliver, monitor and improve sustainability performance of the contract as well as to undertake environmental audits and inspections and provide training and support to contracts and business functions as required. Other responsibilities may include;
- Understanding the environmental deliverables by working with the Contract Manager and team (including operations and building management systems team) to deliver innovative projects and monthly reporting
- Developing and managing key relationships with Broadspectrum client’s Environmental team including with regular contract meetings, environmental and sustainability network meetings
- Provide environmental management training support where required.
- Undertaking environmental risk reviews for the contract and across specific sites, then developing action plans for approval and execution
- Assisting with the preparation and implementation of environmental management system documentation including EMP’s, registers procedures and templates for the contract
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have passion for driving environmentally sustainable solutions and you will have a good understanding of energy efficiency and waste management systems. In particular we will be looking for;
- Cert IV in Environmental Management or Bachelor degree
- Proficient user of MS Office
- Experience working in Facilities Maintenance organisations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven history of proactive initiatives
