Adventist HealthCare (AHCL) is currently seeking a highly motivated healthcare professional who will provide support by enhancing communication and working relationships between General Practitioners and Adventist HealthCare. 

Based at Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to build engagement and referrals between GPs and AHCL specialists and services.

Duties will include acting as a key resource person within AHCL for GPs; improving links with AHCL specialists, GP practices, and other community networks to enhance referrals; ensuring GPs have ready access to relevant information regarding AHCL specialists and services; and assisting with GP education activities.

The successful candidate will have an outstanding track record in stakeholder relationship management, with good understanding of the private health industry and general practice environments, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. 

Candidates will also be required to meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in healthcare
  • Healthcare experience with a minimum of three years’ in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, organise and manage within time frames
  • Proven ability to manage within a budget
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to approach challenges with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office 

Working knowledge of RACGP regulations, GP practice and Primary Health Networks environment is desirable.
