Supplying to multiple aged care facilities, we are seeking experienced and skilled Chefs for casual roles offering immediate start and ongoing hours
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Coordinating and participating in the preparation of high quality meals for residents in accordance with set menus
- Working with specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods
- Maintaining details of resident food preferences and dietary restrictions, and preparing meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
- Assisting service staff where necessary to complete work schedules within designated times including plating and services of meals.
- Monitoring temperature control checks for all meals, cool rooms and freezers.
- Promoting food and kitchen hygiene and safety practices, to ensure compliance requirements are met
TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE
- Previous experience working in Health Care environments (Aged Care, Hospitals)
- Solid Communication skills to meet the needs of pateints
- Current National Police Certificate or DCSI in aged care
- Your own reliable car and licence
- The ability to work as an organised team player
- Availability for morning shifts across a seven day roster
