Position Summary
The Designer is a key role within the Communications team. The role is critical to ensuring Peninsula Health delivers exceptional and engaging content to grow our impact and influence to help achieve our brand and fundraising objectives.
The position reports to the Head of Communications and is responsible for the creation and production of inspiring and engaging print and digital content, concepts and design features to further the objectives of Peninsula Health.
The Designer coordinates all aspects of the design process including briefing, concept design, finished artwork and print production.
We are looking for a design all-rounder with creative flair and strong marketing experience, who can manage multiple projects and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Travel to all Peninsula Health sites may be required.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain our modern and progressive visual identity
• Design and production of all internal and external print and digital content
• Design and production of digital assets
• Ongoing maintenance of Peninsula Health websites
• Deliver key campaigns & communications collateral on-time & on budget
Essential Criteria
• Experience in graphic/digital design in a marketing department or agency
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office products
• Experience in end-to-end print production
• Ability to work effectively with a degree of autonomy & accountability
• Proven ability to create & produce engaging content
• Experience in design for digital advertising and social media channels
• Proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality or detail
• Ability to work effectively in a small and busy team environment
