Podiatrist – Perth Metro

The opportunity

Silver Chain have exciting opportunities for experienced Podiatrist’s to join our diverse and dynamic team to cover our Perth Metro Suburbs who will undertake Holistic Assessments of clients and deliver client care.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review admissions and discharges to ensure eligibility criteria is met
• Formulate and maintain care plans and required documentation in consultation with the client, carer and/or family
• Monitor and co-ordinate resources (equipment, direct care staff, etc) and provide support and education
• Evaluate client responses to interventions to ensure appropriate service delivery according to changing client needs
• Provide specialist education, support and demonstrations to internal and external parties 

About you

• Relevant qualification in allied health profession with demonstrated experience in field of expertise.
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to use appropriate treatment and assessment methods.
• Well developed communication (verbal, written and listening) and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide education, support and coaching to direct care employees, clients and their carers.
• Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work.

Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
