ABOUT THE ROLE
Hardi Aged Care Wyoming are seeking casual Registered Nurses to join our fantastic team located in Summer Hill. The Registered Nurse supervises all clinical activities, remains up to date with best practice guidelines and pursues excellence in clinical leadership.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct and coordinate duties and responsibilities of clinical staff
- Monitor clinical practice, resident care activities, decision-making and documentation
- Perform under limited supervision and provide a wide range of personal care services to residents
- Support and encourage new or less experienced staff through sharing of knowledge
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Proven skills in clinical care - including assessments, medication, wound and continence management, catheter care, palliative care
- Ability to consult with internal and external service providers to provide clinical solutions
- Understanding of the ACFI and its application
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Enjoy the challenge of managing the care team and supporting their care delivery to our resident
- Strong communication and computer skills are essential as the facility has computerised care records
- Hold a valid police check
