The key responsibilities of this role include, but aren't limited to:
- Duties normally performed by a Pharmacist employed in a community pharmacy including the dispensing of prescriptions, counselling of patients and supervision of the Dispensary.
- A commitment to a "Forward Pharmacist" strategy whereby the Pharmacists on Duty are the primary engagers with all patients
- Proactive promotion of professional programs and services including vaccination services, advanced counselling, Medchecks, and Health Screening services
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Minimum 1+ years' experience in community pharmacy
Excellent communication skills
A strong focus on developing health solutions for patients
Experience working with and understanding and achieving KPI's and targets
Excellent time management skills
A proficient knowledge of Complementary Medicines
The position requires:
Current registration with AHPRA to practice pharmacy in Australia
Consideration will be given to newly registered and Intern Pharmacists who satisfy the key selection criteria
On the job training and ongoing support will be provided
Remuneration: will depend on experience and demonstrated skills acquired.
Up to 38 Hours per week
