Modern, predominantly bulk billing medical centre in the heart of Leichhardt is in need of a full time VR GP to join the team due to a consistent increase in patient demand combined with an existing GP looking to reduce hours.
  
This GP owned, family practice has been servicing the local community and surrounding suburbs for over 20 years and truly has a fantastic reputation. If you are looking to join a practice where you have the autonomy, but also support to do both general practice and a sub-speciality, then this is the place to go.
  
We are ideally looking for a VR GP who has an interest in Women’s Health (not essential), to start around August/September when two Registrars will be leaving.
  
You will have the capacity to build your patient base quickly (patients are being turned away daily) and take on some patients from the existing GPs. You can expect your own, large consult room, with all the latest equipment and a window for natural light. There is a range of allied health and also full time RN support.
  
Linked to the practice is a Laser Clinic, with RNs who also do botox and fillers etc. A visiting skin specialist comes once a week. If you are interested in these areas you will be encouraged to practice them, as long as you spread your time fairly across that and general practice.
  
Also, there will be an opportunity to buy into the practice at a later stage if that is something you have been considering.
  
  
To qualify for this role, you will need:

• Specialist AHPRA registration
• FRACGP/FACRRM
• No DWS restrictions
• A desire to work hard and stay long term
