About the Opportunity
The Clinical Research Specialist will work closely with the Clinical Research Manager in clinical studies mainly in Australia and New Zealand. This role will be involved in monitoring and site management of clinical trials within the Cardiac and Vascular portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site initiation. Set-up and maintain accurate study status and implant logs.
- Site monitoring
- Assist in preparation of study budgets and project plans.
- Compilation and review of adverse event information
- Contribute to ongoing SOP development and review
- Follow-up and resolution of site issues
- Provide oversight of activities performed by CRO
- Data management group with review of clinical data/information and oversight of data correction
Skills and Experience
- 1-3 years of experience directly supporting clinical research or relevant experience in medical/scientific area.
- working knowledge of GCP and local regulatory compliance guideline for clinical trials
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills including proficient knowledge of medical terminology
- High attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Works effectively on cross-functional teams
