We are currently seeking a motivated Environmental Services Manager to join the Flinders Medical Centre team on a full time basis.
The Position
Reporting into the Key Account Manager, the Environmental Services Manager is responsible for the day-to-day Distribution & Patient Services, Ward Support and Cleaning Services during the shift to ensure the highest levels of service delivery to clients and patients within the Hospital.
In addition to this they will also be responsible for staff rostering, accurate record keeping and reporting of staff, training of staff, ordering of supplies, equipment maintenance, asset management and day to day monitoring of Supervisors and staff across the site
Criteria:
Essential -
- Supervisory experience in a large, blue collar workforce, ideally within a Healthcare Facility
- Police Criminal History check
- Knowledge of OH&S Act 2000, ISO and EQUIP standards
- Relevant certificate or degree qualifications in health services, hotel/hospitality management, frontline management etc.
- Thorough understanding and commitment to cleaning and infection control requirements in a hospital environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates empathy and respect for team members
- Demonstrates strong customers focus and results orientation
Desirable -
- Relevant certificate or degree qualifications in health services, hotel/hospitality management, frontline management etc.
- Experience in the supervision of 30+ personnel
- Experience in computerised rostering and ordering programs
- Demonstrated knowledge of OH&S ACT 2000, ISO and EQUIP standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of the SA Health Cleaning Standards 2013 and Infection Control Policy
