An exciting opportunity exists in the Day Therapy Unit for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join the leadership team in our Monday to Friday, same day oncology service. We are recruiting for one full-time on-going position and one full-time fixed term position (12 months parental leave cover).
The Day Therapy service comprises of Chemotherapy, Medical, Apheresis, Clinical Trials and Transfusion services. It will be both challenging and a rewarding place to work as part of a specialised team that strives to provide the best quality care and support for our patients. A commitment to professional development of self and others and demonstrated commitment to providing patient focused care following the care continuum are essential.

The successful applicant will have a nursing background in an acute oncology care setting with experience in chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration, cannulation and CVAD care. Outstanding clinical leadership, communication and problem solving skills are essential to this role, along with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
