Allied Health
Allied Health, which represents twelve professions, is a rapidly growing and integrated service within Cabrini. Allied Health at Cabrini offers senior consultant and leadership roles; work in clinical streams; a junior staff rotation and support program; professional development and teaching opportunities; and developing strong external and university partnerships. There will be the expansion of collaborative, multi-disciplinary research with the recent appointment of a Senior Allied Health Research Consultant to support Allied Health led research.
The Role
The Grade 3 Senior Neuro-physiotherapist is a clinical expert who is responsible, within their profession and within the framework of the Mission & Values and Behaviours That Matter of Cabrini, for the leadership of the clinical specialty within the Outpatient Services. With advanced clinical skills and currency of professional knowledge, the Grade 3 is expected to lead and develop individuals and teams, and will ensure that the relevant clinical services demonstrate excellence, quality, current evidence based practice and the highest level of patient satisfaction and staff engagement.
This position is part-time (up to 18 hours per week), and while it may contain all aspects of the position description, the focus of the role will be on centre-based outpatient service provision and clinical leadership in the areas of neurological rehabilitation.
Key Capabilities
- Physiotherapy degree as well as current registration with AHPRA
- Postgraduate Certificate (Continence and PF Rehab) from Melbourne University
- Experience working in the field of Women’s Health Physiotherapy and pelvic floor dysfunction.
- Strong team approach and good communication skills within a multi-disciplinary team
