What you'll be doing The Nurse Manager provides leadership and management of staff, services and resources to ensure delivery of safe, effective, quality nursing care. Selection Criteria Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive regularly for work purposes.Extensive relevant post registration nursing experience and relevant post graduate qualifications in management (or willingness to commence within 12 months of appointment).Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary nursing professional and management issues.Demonstrated ability to facilitate professional development and competence of nursing staff.Demonstrated ability to manage nursing and resource allocations to deliver effectiveness and efficiency.Demonstrated highly developed information technology, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to represent nurses and consult with staff, mediate conflict and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary health professionals.Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of policies and practices, including requirements of the National Safety & Quality Health Standards.
