  • Indicative Total Remuneration: $88,075 - $102,504 (pro rata) - Temp P/T (7.5 hrs p/wk, up to 9/8/2019) - AHP2

 

You will contribute to the provision of high quality Audiology services that maximise patient health outcomes. This will encompass performing baseline and diagnostic audiological procedures for outpatients to support the diagnosis of hearing and related disorders. You will manage referred outpatients by identifying, recommending and implementing strategies to deal with difficulties created by hearing and related disorders, including providing counselling. With a brand new purpose-built audiology booth and new audiology assessment equipment, you will have access to ongoing professional development and have close working relationships with the ENT Department. With state of the art facilities, the Lyell McEwin Hospital is fast becoming a major tertiary facility. You will hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for Association membership with the Audiological Society of Australia. With demonstrated competency and knowledge in Audiology assessment and management techniques, you will possess strong problem solving skills, including the ability to appropriately consider the complexities of each patient’s hearing loss plus medical and psychosocial history factors. You will also demonstrate a commitment to improving your personal and professional skills through self-directed learning and evaluation.
