Project Officer – HealthPathways
Full time, fixed term to 30 June 2020,
(subject to funding).
We are currently seeking a Project Officer – HealthPathways in a full time capacity, located in our Traralgon office. This position will provide a project guidance role, responding to opportunities for innovation, health reform and service system improvement in the Latrobe local government area and broadly across Gippsland.
The HealthPathways Project Officer will assist the implementation of the Gippsland HealthPathways program which aims to develop, promote and integrate locally responsive, evidence based and patient centered care pathways.
A key function will be to build relationships with multiple stakeholders to identify and implement priority care pathways, and ensure engagement with the primary care sector to promote use of the pathways.
Our ideal applicants will have:
- Tertiary qualification/s in a directly related or relevant health field;
- Good understanding of the political drivers influencing the Primary Health model over the coming 3 years;
- Excellent communication skills demonstrated through high-level negotiation, presentation and written communication experience;
- High level project planning, research and evaluation skills;
- High level skills in working with a range of people to achieve results;
- Proven experience in working with a wide range of stakeholders across the primary health sector to influence positive outcomes in line with Gippsland PHN organisational strategic directions;
- Proven project work experience within the health sector or public sector / community environment;
- A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision; and
- A demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
