DPV Health is a Primary Health Service that provides a range of primary health, dental, disability, population health and social support services to the growing communities of the outer northern suburbs of Melbourne.
The Position
This position will sit within the Community Services Team to provide client service provision both in one to one client support and groups. The role will provide information and advice to individuals, families, community groups and organisations about food and nutrition for good health. The Dietitian covers a broad section of client demographics, ranging from adults with chronic conditions and/or disabilities, interactive sessions with community groups, , and secondary consultations within a multi-disciplinary team of allied health practitioners.
The position is predominately based at our Epping site, but travel to other sites may be required, and involves the incorporation of the social model of health in both direct contacts with individual clients and group work.
Key Selection Criteria
Applicants must have a recognised degree or post graduate qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics, with eligibility for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia and the Accredited Practicing Dietitian program. Experience in community health is highly desired. A Working with Children’s Check is essential for this position.
