South Coast Radiology is a rapidly growing diagnostic imaging provider with 11 practices on the Gold Coast as well as practices in Mackay and Toowoomba. An exciting opportunity exists with South Coast Radiology for a Lead CT Radiographer based at John Flynn hospital.
You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of CT service, maintaining and developing protocols and staff training. Experience in Cardiac CTA is highly desirable. Ideally, you will have unit management experience, and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team. Whilst demonstrating well developed organisation and time management skills, your ability to provide a high quality, complete and timely CT service is essential.
Essential criteria:
- Extensive CT experience
- A Bachelor of Applied Science (medical radiations) or equivalent.
- Eligibility for membership of the Australian Institute of Radiography.
- Current MRPB / AHPRA registration
- Excellent diagnostic imaging skills
- A willingness and commitment to lead a professional imaging team
- Proven experience in safe and appropriate use of ionizing radiation to produce optimal quality diagnostic images.
- A willingness to continue further education and ability to teach others
- A current police check will be required as a pre-requisite to employment with South Coast Radiology.
