As our Medical Receptionist you're the first point of contact for people who visit TIMC. Our clinic has 6 GPs, podiatry, physiotherapy and psychology. Our doctors specialise in pregnancy care, women's health, occupational health and skin cancer detection and prevention. You will be responsible for the reception and waiting area and providing administrative assistance to our health care providers. This is a people focused and essential team member role. This position demands the provision of high quality customer service when responding to all enquiries whether in person or by telephone.

  • Ability to relate to people, enjoy customer service and be quality focused;
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work autonomously or part as a team;
  • Interest in and willingness to respond to the needs of people with different needs;
  • Appropriate IT skills, plus have the ability to adapt to new systems quickly;
  • Ability to undertake administrative tasks as instructed and it the time allocated;
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekend shifts; and
  • CPR training within the last 12 months and current Victorian Drivers Licence (desirable).

This position will be paid under the Victorian Stand-Alone Community Health Services (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement 2011-2015, Clerical Worker, Grade C, Year 2
