A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced and proactive Podiatry professional to join our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team.
In this role you will be responsible for providing quality, client-centred and efficient Podiatry services to both outpatients and inpatients. An emphasis is placed on the management of the client "at risk" of developing complex foot pathologies as a consequence of their underlying medical condition.
As the sole Podiatrist in our Allied Health team, you will have the opportunity to be involved at a leadership level in the planning and implementation of future Allied Health initiatives. The role will enable you to utilise your experience and expertise with involvement in organisation wide working groups and special projects on improving patient care. With a strong departmental focus on professional development, this role also offers a great chance to extend your Podiatry skills.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualification in Podiatry
- Minimum of 2 years clinical podiatry experience in a hospital and/or community setting
- Excellent podiatry knowledge with demonstrated clinical skills in all of the following areas: wound management, biomechanical assessment and treatment and management of the high risk foot.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a varied and demanding caseload
- An understanding of and commitment to contemporary service delivery models of care that focus on person centered care.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills.
- An understanding of contemporary clinical and quality improvement frameworks and ability to work with consumer groups and other stakeholders to gain feedback and utilize this feedback to evaluate services.
