Opportunity for a Grade 1/2 Occupational Therapist to Join a Rapidly Expanding Practice in Horsham.

This private allied health practice provides Occupational Therapy services for people of all ages and abilities. The practice was founded by a passionate Occupational Therapist who believes in empowering all to participate in everyday tasks, they pride themselves on the high standard of therapy that they provide. Due to expansion, they are looking for two occupational therapists who are keen to work across all aspects of Occupational Therapy, their services include: Individual, Paediatrics, Workplace and Residential.

As an Occupational Therapist, your duties will include a wide range of;

• Formal and informal assessments of everyday tasks
• Creating individual care plans tailored to the client
• Cognitive assessments, Pain management strategies, Falls Prevention & Prescription of aids.
• Behavioural & Emotional management, Fine & Gross motor tasks plus interventions around Balance and Coordination
• Group and Individual education sessions around workplace safety
• Provide support to those have an NDIS plan or would like to access NDIS

To be considered for this position, you will have;

• Completed your studies in Occupational Therapy
• Full AHPRA registration
• Previous experience with Paediatrics is highly regarded
