THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to work closely with our mobile physiotherapy and community team within the Western Sydney area.

In this role your duties will include:

• Working closely with the mobile and community team, including the plan and support managers and mobile physiotherapists
• Providing clients with the necessary treatment in relation to their needs
• Observing clients perform certain activities to evaluate their condition and needs to develop a suitable and realistic treatment plan

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIRED:

• Patient, service-orientated and more importantly a ‘people person’
• Active listener and critical thinking skills
• Enthusiasm to grow and expand your knowledge, skill-set and career with Physio Inq
• Liaison with NDIS and aged care service providers and plan managers
• Provision of occupational therapy services to clients, both in home and within community networks
• Experience as an Occupational Therapist within the acute hospital or private sector
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience
• Current drivers licence
• A qualification in Occupational Therapy and current (or applied for) registration with AHPRA

DESIRABLE:

• Working with children check
• Working in rehabilitation & aged care
• Experience in mental health
