The Southport Private Hospital opened in early 2017 providing specialist mental health services and mainstream rehabilitation inpatient and day programs.

REHABILITATION WARD
REGISTERED NURSE
Part-time opportunity available
We are seeking to appoint experienced Registered Nurse to join the team in supporting the Rehabilitation Ward. The successful applicant will work on a part-time basis, with the capacity to work regular night duties and shifts covering a 7 day rotating roster, with contracted hours dependant on the successful applicant in line with the needs of business.
The Rehabilitation Ward provides Rehabilitation Inpatient Services, as well as supportive and caring Chronic Pain Inpatient Services. The position is under the direction of the Rehabilitation Nurse Unit Manager.
The Position
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be supported and guided by a close knit team to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care. You will assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.
The Person
You will have exceptional customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills and also meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Recent Rehabilitation nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills
- High level problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work as a cohesive team member
- Commitment to and achievements in Quality / Continuous Improvement processes
Prior to commencement you will be required to provide a National Police Check at your own expense.
