The Position
St John of God Geelong Hospital is currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated Unit Receptionists to join our dedicated and multiskilled Casual Pool.
The Unit Receptionists are responsible for delivering a broad range of clerical duties including receiving and directing telephone calls, processing patient information and liaising with doctors and nursing staff.
This position will require the successful candidates to be available seven (7) days per week across AM, PM and night shifts as required and often at short notice.
The successful candidate will have:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a frontline Clerical/Reception position.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritise work requirements and work productively within a team environment.
- Highly developed level of computer proficiency, attention to detail and accuracy.
