Occupational Therapist | Community | Disabilities | Gold Coast

Our client is one of Australia’s longest serving disability service providers. They are highly respected within the disability community and pride themselves on their reputation for delivering an exceptional level of person centred care, and their dedication to helping people with disabilities to live an empowered life.

As part of their continued expansion, they are looking to onboard an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Multidisciplinary team in Queensland. This multi-disc team of 3 (Made up of one Occupational Therapist/Psychologist/Speech Pathologist) ) will be supported remotely by NDIS & Allied Health Executives based in Sydney plus have fortnightly catch ups & clinical discussions with each other.

The role will involve In Home/Community/Day Program visits, servicing areas between The Gold Coast and South Brisbane & working from home completing assessments, schedules etc.

There is an extremely competitive salary package on offer for the successful candidate of $106,000 inclusive of Car and Super.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Must have current registration with the APHRA
• Minimum of two years experience in a similar role.
• As it is a standalone role, the ideal candidate must be confident representing the company in a small team.
• Current registration with Medicare Australia
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Above average communication skills - both written and verbal
• Ability to work autonomously in a complex environment with multiple demands and tight timelines
• Computer literate
• Must have a valid, QLD drivers' licence.
