Bene Aged Care provides quality residential and community care to over 2,500 aged persons throughout South Australia, many of Italian heritage. With a workforce of approximately 450 employees across 5 sites we have developed a strong sense of pride in the way we deliver care to our residents and consumers making us one of South Australia's largest Italian originated aged care organisation's. Our Residential facility at St Agnes is currently seeking experienced and committed Registered and Enrolled Nurses.
Morning, Afternoon and Night Shifts Available
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant Nursing Qualifications (including Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines)
- AHPRA Registration
- At least 5 years' experience in a like role
- A comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly Aged and Dementia/Mental Health Care related health issues
- A comprehensive understanding of administration procedures and practices
- Highly developed interpersonal, conflict management, negotiation and communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to foster and maintain good interpersonal and working relationships with all staff, management, residents, clients and stakeholders
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate staff to obtain high quality outcomes, as well as a commitment to teamwork
- Ability to implement effective change strategies with commitment to ongoing Quality Improvement Programs
- Demonstrated commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents and their representatives,
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Drivers License

- A minimum of 5 years' Residential Aged Care experience
- Nursing qualifications
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- National Police Certificate & ability to complete a functional capacity assessment
- Italian speaking desirable
