The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) is the national peak body representing Australia's 30,000 pharmacists working in all sectors and across all locations in Australia. We are now seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Professional Practice Pharmacist to join our Program Delivery team. This position can be located in any of our PSA offices in Australia.
The Professional Practice Pharmacist will report to the Manager, Resource Development . The position will research, write, peer review and accredit education and practice support resources for pharmacists and other related audiences. The Program Delivery unit is responsible for the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of all programs, providing ongoing quality improvement in pharmacy practice.
To be considered for this role you must be able to address the following selection criteria:-
- Be a qualified and registered Pharmacist with an excellent knowledge of the Pharmacy profession in Australia;
- Have recent clinical pharmacy practice experience and knowledge of contemporary pharmacy issues;
- Demonstrated experience as a medical or technical writer in education content creation and instructional design;
- Demonstrated skills in interpreting clinical study results and synthesising health related information;
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders from the profession and the industry;
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and within a team using motivation and initiative.
