Your Nursing Agency (YNA) has been providing nursing, midwifery, careworker and support service staff to private clients, community and in-home programs, government agencies, hospitals, health and aged care facilities in Australia since the 1970's.
We currently have a full-time position available for a Supervisor: Community Care.
The role involves:
- Visiting prospective and current community care clients in their homes
- Quoting for and selling YNA community care services, focussing on the needs of the individual
- Working closely with the YNA Community Allocations Consultant and Allocations team to ensure sufficient rostering and service allocation to community based clients
- Management of incidents and issues
- Work with the YNA Quality team to maintain currency of community care policies, procedures and forms
- Staff liaison, coordination and teamwork
- Client liaison, excellent customer service and communications skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of Home Care Packages and/or NDIS including using tools to provide quotes for services
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and to plan and organise the service delivery requirements of a changing client base with competing deadlines
- Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work tasks and work to a deadline
- Well developed communication skills (written, verbal and listening) including high level telephone techniques in order to liaise effectively with staff and clients
- Focus and desire to continuously improve
- Positive demeanour and a can do attitude
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated high level computer literacy
- Health / Community Care experience
- Being a Registered Nurse would be an advantage in this role
