About the role:
The Pharmacist is responsible for providing service through the coordination and supervision of all dispensed medications. Based in Canberra, this position reports to the Area Manager and will operate in a full-time capacity, working 38 hours per week, on a 12 month max term Contract.

Key responsibilities:
- Dispense prescriptions
- Provide advice on drug selection and usage
- Educate staff and counsel patients on proper use of medicines
- Review clinical charts
- Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees
- On call as rostered
Skills & experience:
- Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting would be an advantage
- Attention to detail and a high level of planning and organisational ability
- Proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer service
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Ability to address client needs with sensitivity and professionalism
