The Company
Well established Radiology group has its presence across Western Australia. It provides imaging services to multiple hospitals and local community-based clinics. The team is staffed with a large group of high performing Radiologists, Sonographers, Radiographers and experienced administrative personnel.

The Role
This is a leadership position, we are looking for an experienced senior sonographer who has management skills to lead a team of 10 sonographers. 
This Unit manager role will be approx. a split of 70% clinical work and 30% managerial tasks such as rostering, coordinating workflow, training & supporting junior staff also developing strategies & protocols.

Duties

• Perform mixed caseload of ultrasound examinations.
• Coach junior sonographers.
• Manage day to day operations of the ultrasound unit.
• Paricipate in business development stratigies. 
• Implement training and CPD education for staff members. 
• Monday to Friday, with some on call and weekend work.

Skills & Experience 

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Handy on experience with Ultrasound scans.
• Effective organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous managment or supervisonary experience. 
• Ability to communicate with Radiologists, referrers and stakeholders.
• ASAR registration & work rights in Australia.
