The Gordon is the leading provider of education and training in the region and plays a key role in the economic and social development of our community. It has also recently received The Australian and Victorian recognition as the Larger Training Provider of the Year (2017).

We are looking for individuals who can drive the organisation forward in an environment focused on positive outcomes for our students, staff and community. 

The NDIS, as well as being a major investment in community building, will be a significant economic driver employing thousands of people. The TAFE Network will play a pivotal role in Victoria’s response to the NDIS. A sector-wide approach to establish TAFE Victoria as a preferred NDIS training provider is under way. The focus is on identifying how the TAFE Network can best support NDIS workforce development and provide training and services that increase access to education for people with disabilities, leading to improved outcomes. The role will be based at The Gordon in Geelong, but will involve engagement with government, industry (e.g. disability service providers), other training providers, disability advocacy groups and other key stakeholders, to develop and implement the TAFE Network’s response to NDIS implementation.
