The Role:
The Physiotherapist is responsible for determining the clinical and functional needs of residents and clients by conducting daily living assessments and delivering physiotherapy services to develop case plans and support services.
Working across both Aged Care Facilities and Home Care environments, the Physiotherapist will independently and professionally undertakes assessments of residents and clients, determine individual capabilities and apply specialist knowledge and expertise to deliver outcomes that maximise independence and quality of life.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy/Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent
- Eligible for membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association
- Demonstrated experience working in Residential Aged Care
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
- Professional written, oral and verbal communication skills, including computer literacy
- Current National Police Check Certificate
