We are a happy, busy and dedicated general practice who are focused on providing our patients with the highest quality medical care and provide a wide range of services under general, allied and corporate Health.
We are looking for an experienced and confident practice manager for a full-time role within our growing team.
The successful applicant must be able to work together with our friendly team both clinical and non-clinical staff, to provide exceptional and professional service to our patients and the greater community.
Essential qualities for this role are:
- Previous managerial experience
- Previous experience in General practice or a specialist environment is highly desirable
- Ability to effectively manage, mentor and lead the team
- Excellent computer and IT skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Organisational skills
- Friendly, approachable and warm personality
- Leadership and Integrity
- Have the ability to be flexible in hours, to ensure continuity of service in the event of staff absences
- Willing to travel to other sites if needed
Day to Day tasks involved in the role
- Overseeing the daily operations of the practice to ensure we provide outstanding care for our patients
- Promoting a professional work environment that is efficient, friendly and service- focused and that optimises staff satisfaction and retention
- Human resources management, including recruitment and induction of new staff; staff training and development; supervision, education and mentoring of staff
- Maintaining, developing and overseeing systems and processes to maximise productivity in the workplace.
- Overseeing strategies and processes that promote growth of the practice.
- Commitment to ongoing Quality Improvement Programs
- Assisting with business development
- Reception cover when needed
