The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialist clinical advice to promote innovative, clinically sound and customer focused care and service provision. Flexible working arrangements and days.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA and a minimum of 5 years post registration experience and 3 years full time equivalent experience in the field of Aged Care Nursing or similar
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership skills with an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework
  • Demonstrated effective communication and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums including computer literacy
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in Aged Care Nursing and commitment to excellence in nursing practice
  • Demonstrated understanding of the process of Quality Improvement and its importance to clinical practice.
  • Well-developed analytical skills including ability to critically evaluate data
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and within a team and manage priorities
  • Interest in health and well-being of older people and those living with disabilities in rural and remote Australia

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of community aged care sector
  • Knowledge of legislation and current trends and movements in the aged care sector
