The My Health Team group is a growing team of multi-disciplinary clinicians looking to improve the quality of health and lifestyles of people within our communities. We are seeking a full time physio to join our team who will share our 'why' and strive to make a difference in our north Brisbane community.
There are 2 aspects of the full time role.
Rehabilitation
- Provide preventative and rehabilitation physiotherapy intervention within a modern aged care facility 3 days per week.
- Minimal pain management and associated admin work
- Work as the sole practitioner to lead a team of like-minded staff to develop and implement individual rehabilitation programs
- Develop skills in group based training for residents and staff
- Full mentorship and training provided
Corporate Health
- Develop and implement skills in manual therapy and preventative physiotherapy to a local labour based workforce onsite 2 days per week.
- Learn how to implement return to work plans and work with local team managers to manage injuries
- Provide advice on ergonomic changes to workplace practices (full training provided)
- Contribute to company values of creating a healthy workforce.
Candidate Requirements
- Must have minimum of 12 months experience within either private practice or aged care
- Possess excellent time management skills and be comfortable with workplace independence
- A strong ability to work as a team and be able to task delegate
- Must have their own car and hold a current drivers licence.
