As our clinic, Leap Therapy Group, continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our established team of Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists. We are open to Full Time or Part Time working options and offer flexibility for working parents.
In addition to assessment and intervention in our Private Practice, Leap Therapy Group, is proactive in educating the community with workshops and in-services. This position will also offer the successful applicant with the opportunity to supervise junior Occupational Therapy team members.
This position would best suit a therapist who is highly motivated, organised and passionate, with a 'can do' attitude, who can work well independently as well as within a team.
Our busy practice provides services to children with a variety of diagnosis and areas of need. We are also a registered NDIS provider. We work collaboratively as a team and have the support of two part-time wonderful practice administrative staff.
Our practice has sensory based equipment in two gyms, a range of standardised assessments, excellent resources and CPD opportunities.

Essential Criteria:
- A Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent
- Registration with AHPRA
- 2+ years of paediatric experience
Desirable Criteria:
- Mental Health Plan registration
- Experience with clinical supervision
Skills required include;
- Demonstrated ability to assess and treat children and adolescents with a range of learning and developmental difficulties.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with therapists, parents, teachers and children.
- Excellent written communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to providing quality Occupational Therapy services
- Highly organised, reliable and committed, with excellent independent clinical and time management skills.
