We are a group of young professionals, and we have just taken over Acland Court Pharmacy & Acland Street Pharmacy, located in St Kilda, Melbourne, on the famous multicultural and bustling Acland street.

We are dedicated to introducing positive changes to the local community and we are looking for PROACTIVE & HARDWORKING part time and full time pharmacy assistants to join our team. POSITION: PHARMACY ASSISTANT(Full / Part time)

We are looking for pharmacy assistants to provide exceptional customer care that develops relationships with customers, ensures continued repeat business and the long-term success of the Pharmacy.

In this role you will be required to:

• Golden Rule: Every customer leaves the Pharmacy happy
• Greet or acknowledge every customer who enters the store
• Care for customers by recommending appropriate products that will meet their needs
• Approach customers and provide exceptional product information and advice
• Ensure customers are informed of the features and benefits of products, detailing instructions on how to use the product
• Accept prescriptions from customers and ensure the correct patient's details are recorded, and to collect basic information
• Provide continuous assistance and support to all customer service areas within the store
• Ensure that displays and shelves are clean and tidy and all stock is pulled forward and rotated
• Assist in stock replenishment and rotation and general housekeeping of the pharmacy

Qualifications and Knowledge Required:

• A minimum of 2 years pharmacy assistant experience in pharmacy/retail environment;
• Completed Cert II or III in Community Pharmacy (bonus);
• Experience in managing large volumes of stock and working to merchandising standards while still having a creative flare;
• Strong leadership capabilities including team development, training, motivation, engagement and performance management;
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales targets, implement marketing campaigns, and have a flare for visual merchandising;
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for exceeding customer expectations, as well as the desire to share this knowledge and skills to develop others in this area;
• Strong financial and business acumen;
• Highly organised and efficient;
• A vibrant and enthusiastic disposition along with high energy levels;
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of loss prevention, store operations and safety.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to work early mornings, late nights and weekends on rotation.

The pharmacies trade 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm Monday till Saturday, and 10am to 7pm on Sunday, and will require you to be flexible. We are looking for multiple long term employees who will grow with us! We will keep expanding with more stores opening!
