The Role:
An engaging opportunity has become available for an experienced health professional with a highly-regarded organisation responsible for the delivery and promotion for a youth mental health program.
You'll be supporting educational professionals demonstrating your excellent clinical skills to the multi-disciplinary team.
Reporting to the State Manager you will contribute to the establishment and delivery of mental health educational programs along with liaising with a broad range of key stakeholders utilizing your extensive communication skills.
Located in Darwin this 12 month contract will allow you to expand your skill set and assist those in need.
You'll Need:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant allied health discipline
- psychology, occupational therapy, social work, counsellor, or mental health nurse
- Appropriate professional registration to your modality
- Extensive experience in mental health care and delivering services to schools
- Strong project management skills
- Self-motivated to work autonomously and with a team focus to time crucial tasks
- A current driver's licence and able to travel intra-state regularly
- Highly desired, an understanding of youth mental health issues including suicide postvention, suicide, and the impact of trauma on school communities
