A Sales Specialist- Morita/Kuraray position within our Sydney Sales team has become available! This influential role will support our Morita/ Kuraray product range (consumables)  with the focus on meeting budget objectives.

You will be a key contributor to increasing revenue, profitability and market share of the product range. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic sales team, build strong relationships with major customers and take ownership of the Morita / Kuraray account.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Provide product training and mentoring to new Territory Managers.
  • Maintain knowledge on new products, competitive products and other general market information.
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Monitor and forecast market trends
  • Contribute to the overall sales budget and strategy parameters
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts, anticipate future needs and ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals, costings and contracts 
  • Participate in new customer negotiations.
  • Ensure complaints are resolved in a timely manner with a mutually beneficial outcome.
  • Research and engage with prospective customers
  • Liaise with industry opinion leaders and vendor representatives
  • Attendance and product presentation at monthly sales meetings
  • Representation of HSH at all relevant exhibitions, study groups, open days 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Solid experience working as a Sales Representative within the dental industry (preferred)
  • Qualifications in any dental field or sales is highly valued or knowledge of dental products and technical clinical applications
  • Superior communication, customer relation and interpersonal skills.
  • Be self-motivated, resilient and demonstrate initiative.
  • Be tenacious in closing negotiations yet ensuring an enhanced customer experience.
  • Be confident with product presentation and workshops.
  • Analytical abilities with business acumen.
  • High level of computer skills 
  • Ability to multi task with deliverables of a superior standard
  • Knowledge of the technical features and benefits of the product range including competitive products preferable

***This role requires regular travel by car to country regions however, the majority of travel is in the Sydney city area. This position offers a competitive salary package including a Company Vehicle and On Target Earnings Bonus Incentive. Free on site parking is available.
