About the Hospital
Mt Wilga Private Hospital is a 119 bed specialist rehabilitation facility, with a busy day therapy unit and outpatients department situated in Hornsby, a peaceful area of Sydney’s Upper North Shore. Part of the Ramsay Health Care Group, Mt Wilga boasts an excellent clinical reputation as a leader in private rehabilitation, with large modern treatment areas, two hydrotherapy pools, and fully equipped gymnasiums. Mt Wilga offers comprehensive rehabilitation programs for patients presenting with a wide variety of conditions including orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, back and pain management, cardiac, amputee, reconditioning and lymphoedema.
Essential
- Degree Applied Sciences – Exercise Physiology or equivalent
- Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia
- Demonstrate advanced time management and organisational skills which allows the ability to meet deadlines and set effective measurable objectives
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability within the work environment to allow strong performance both autonomously and within a team which supports the achievement of department objectives
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge & skill in the relevant clinical area with an emphasis on clinical excellence
- Demonstrated ability to manage change, with a flexible, positive approach to work
- Demonstrated understanding of the relevant accreditation framework and a commitment to quality improvement
