The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time, Assistant Manager to join the WA team in our brand new, picturesque Port Coogee facility.

Overlooking the Port Coogee Marina with expansive views of the ocean, you will experience working in one of Regis’ state of the art homes, as a founding team member. This is an opportunity for someone who has a sound background in management and is looking to start their career within the Aged Care space, or further develop their knowledge and skills in Aged Care while being supported and mentored by an experienced Facility Manager.

This role creates the perfect stepping stone for someone who is looking to break into a rapidly growing industry. Your commitment and dedication will be imperative, as will a demonstrated pride in service excellence, to enable success in this role.

As an Assistant Manager, your role will include:

  • Completing a thorough on boarding program and developing the knowledge and skills required to be a Facility Manager
  • Full oversight of the Catering, Laundry, Maintenance and Administration areas
  • HR and staff management
  • Management of the facility P&L
  • Sales and Marketing of the Facility
  • Interacting with the residents and their families daily
  • Working closely with your leadership team and frontline staff to ensure a positive, friendly, helpful and effective culture
  • Ensure compliance with all WHS processes

Your experience:

This position would be suited to someone who is eager to learn, dynamic in personality and is ideally tertiary qualified in business, health or a hospitality related discipline.

Ideally you will be experienced within a multi-faceted, service based environment although this may come from a variety of industries. A natural leader and motivator, your communication skills will be exemplary.
