About the Hospital:
Abbotsford Private Hospital, located in the medical precinct of West Leederville, is a 30 bed hospital providing inpatient mental health and day program services. As part of the Healthecare group, we pride ourselves on delivering patient focused care across 35 private health facilities in Australia.
Abbotsford will also be undergoing expansion in 2019 which will provide exciting and diverse opportunity's as a result of increased facilities to include an additional 51 inpatient beds, 10 brand new therapy rooms and a gym.
About the Role:
We seek a psychologist/clinical psychologist registrar to work with a diverse range of patients in both our inpatient and day patient programs. Active participation within team meetings is required and the successful applicant must be able to work both independently and within a team structure.
Essential Criteria:
- Current registration with APHRA
- Experience in working in an inpatient and day patient environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage a case load
- Well developed assessment skills
- Excellent IT and administration skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to professional development
Desirable Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in a multi disciplinary environment
- Experience in working with clients presenting with severe mental health issues and complex needs
