About the role

Marketing Support

  • Under direction of the Oncology Senior Product Manager & Urology Product Manager, participate in the development of marketing objectives, strategies, advertising and promotional programmes
  • Liaise with internal Marketing support colleagues and Medical colleagues – building sense of teamwork and mutual co-operation
  • Active participation in, and contribution to, relevant brand teams
  • Co-ordinate and act as key contact for TBMs for technical marketing or material information and needs
  • Drive effective communication & correspondence with external customers
  • Work with Marketing Leads and Meeting & Event Coordinator to plan, organise & conduct national Oncology & Urology meetings
  • Conduct literature reviews and collection
  • Develop and coordinate delivery of sales conference materials

Sales Support

  • Interact regularly with, and keep informed on needs of, the Oncology and PCU TBMs
  • Participate in the planning of sales promotion and advertising for assigned products
  • Work with the Analytics team to contribute to, and gain understanding of, market trends and sales potential for use in sales forecasts and planning
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotion and advertising programmes, using set guidelines, and make recommendations for improvements or changes as necessary
  • Identify different types of customer contact needs to generate sales – e.g. face to face selling time vs direct marketing campaigns
  • With Senior Managers, build, manage and maintain strong relationships with key customers
  • Contribute to optimising customer database
  • Manage assigned key programs as directed by Senior / Product Managers
  • Review complaints and suggestions relating to assigned products
  • Ensure all business activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards

Strategic and Business Marketing Plan Implementation

  • Develop a sound understanding of strategic business plan goals
  • Obtain prior approval for any recommendations and changes by presenting rationale
  • Develop recommendations for implementation of strategies to present to Senior / Product Manager
  • As / when directed by Senior / Product Manager, liaise with relevant Advertising agencies to develop medical writing or image creation for marketing materials
  • Develop preliminary advertising and promotional spend estimates for approval by Senior / Product Manager
  • Proactively liaise with representatives throughout material development cycle to ensure relevance and feasibility of application

Skills and experience

  • Marketing / Science Undergraduate Qualifications, Post Graduate studies desirable
  • 4 plus years' industry experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
