Where you'll be working Liverpool Hospital is the major health service for South Western Sydney providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of statewide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation. We are situated in one of the fastest-growing regions in Australia and sit within an education and health precinct which includes the Ingham Institute of Applied Medical Research, a Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre, the Clinical Schools of the University of NSW and University of Western Sydney, Sydney South West. What you'll be doing The Review Officer will provide high level administration support to the Manager Executive Support Unit, for the timely and efficient monitoring, review, assigning and drafting of correspondence including but not limited to ministerial briefings, parliamentary correspondence and Chief Executive correspondence. The position holder will liaise with senior management to ensure that in all responses: all issues are addressed with information that is factual, accurate, timely and succinct and the language and tone are appropriate. High-level oral and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation and facilitation skills. Ability to edit and write a range of documents with a good grasp of proper English grammar. Highly efficient time management skills, the capacity to successfully management competing priorities and meet deadlines. High-level information technology and systems skills, including office systems, word processing and electronic record management Sound organisational skills. Demonstrated effectiveness in consultation processes with a variety of stakeholders within the Local Health District, NSW Health and external organisations. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with minimal supervision. Ability to confidentially handle controversial issues. Need more information?
