Where you'll be working Canterbury Hospital is part of Sydney Local Health District, one of the best performing health districts in NSW. Canterbury Hospital works closely with other hospitals and services such as Sydney District Nursing, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Repatriation General Hospital to meet the health needs of people in our district. What you'll be doing An Assistant in Nursing (AIN) works within a nursing plan of care under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and within the limits of the AIN position description and local policy and protocol. To be considered for this role you must hold a Certificate III (HLT32507 Or HLT32512) in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care); or currently enrolled as a Nursing Student (with successful completion of at least two semesters) and previous experience working in an acute care facility. Selection Criteria Good written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work and contribute as a team member Demonstrated ability to conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups Demonstrated ability to use computer based applications and information systems.
