Redesign Lead Employment Type: Temporary Full Time Position Classification: Health Mgr Lvl 3 Remuneration: $108,255.00pa - $123,411.00pa Location: Sydney - Chatswood Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ55298 Where you'll be working Being part of NSW Health Pathology means you’re helping create better health and justice systems every day. We operate more than 60 laboratories and around 200 collection centres across NSW and conduct over 60 million tests per annum. Our network of pathologists are supported by scientists, technicians and support staff who quickly and accurately assess samples so clinical teams can make the best possible treatment decisions for patients. Our Forensic & Analytical Science Service provides independent, objective analysis to the NSW criminal and coronial justice systems. What you'll be doing The Redesign Lead will lead a proactive approach to improving efficiency, effectiveness and customer-focus of pathology and/or forensic scientific services using redesign methodology. The position will support clinical and service leaders to apply new ideas that produce better outcomes for patients, families, customers and staff. The role will increase the organisation’s capacity and capability for redesign across NSW Health Pathology, contributing to the organisation’s reform strategy. Tertiary qualifications in a health-related or business field (or equivalent practical experience) with demonstrated capability in facilitating redesign and change initiatives Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead and motivate staff and stakeholders, as well as an ability to form effective working relationships with senior managers, clinicians and external partners Demonstrated skill and experience in project management, program management and change management and a strong commitment to project and program evaluation and knowledge management Knowledge of the Agency of Clinical Innvoation (ACI) clinical redesign methodology and a range of methodologies that can be used to implement change Demonstrated leadership, coaching, mentoring and facilitation skills to support a range of redesign and change methodologies Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills with high degree of initiative, and the ability to collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data and critically review published material to inform decision making Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare high level reports and papers for publication, as well as sound negotiation and interpersonal skills Current unencumbered driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites and facilities across a large geographic area, which may include overnight stays An eligibility list will be created for future temporary and casual vacancies.
