Delmont Private Hospital is an 88 bed accredited private mental health facility with extensive Inpatient, Day Program, Outreach and specialist Consulting Suite. In addition to general adult mental health, Delmont offers specific programs for Substance Use and Addiction and Aged Psychiatry.
We are seeking Group Therapists (Nurse Therapist, Psychologist, Social Worker) to join the Delmont Day Program Team. Day and evening shifts available.
You must have a minimum of 5 years experience in group work, be enthusiastic, a team player with a positive, flexible and adaptable outlook. You will have a vision for excellence, a strong interest in program development and enjoy the challenge of providing quality care and service to people with complex mental health issues
Key Selection Criteria:
ESSENTIAL:
- Experience working in Adult Mental Health / Addiction
- Well developed and established group skills
- General group skills in CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Life Skills, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar.
- Flexible, adaptable approach to work across the Day Program Service, may involve evening groups.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of group programs
- Show initiative and time management skills
- Participate in developing supportive working relationships with the team
